Centre Manager

Kajans is looking for a highly organised, creative and driven person to lead an exciting programme of community and cultural events at our newly refurbished Community Creative Hub.

The Centre Manager will bring the Hub to life as a welcoming, imaginative and well-run centre where local people can connect, create, learn and thrive, leading its day-to-day operation while shaping and delivering an ambitious programme of community, cultural, educational, health, wellbeing and celebratory activity.

Location: Birmingham, B19 1LY
Salary: £21,000–£25,000
Hours: 18 hours, with flexible evening and weekend work
Contract: Permanent, subject to funding and satisfactory probation

The Community Creative Hub

Our newly refurbished hub at 35 Wilson Road will be open to the community for health, learning, creativity and celebration.

Community Creative Hub poster: Your space, your community, your hub. 35 Wilson Road, B19 1LY. Free health checks, SEND education centre, DanceXercise for over 50s, exercise for over 60s, cooking and baking classes, Saturday school and homework clubs, music lessons, 11-plus maths and English tuition. Available for birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, meetings, events, workshops and worship.

Kajans is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to make a real difference in the community. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us deliver activities, support events, and create a welcoming environment for everyone who engages with our work. Whether you have specific skills to share or simply a willingness to help, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, and we are happy to work around your availability.
